Episode #15: How Building an Army Will Gut the System

August 18th, 2021

Many parents tell me they absolutely will not advocate for reform because of a cascade of fears. At least, using the methods I suggest.

But, if you are willing to play the long game and stay committed to the cause, you can build an army of parents and call forth change, without stepping a toe in the courtroom or a legislator's office.

For those who suffer from extreme stress when thinking of fighting back, you will want to listen to this episode.

My guest, Robert Greibesland discusses this further. He's another warrior committed to reforming the system and using the army-building strategy to reach more people. You can check him out on Facebook for inspiration!

Episode #32: A Mother’s Day Message Guaranteed to Make You Feel Good

May 9th, 2021

Mother's Day, by far, has traditionally been my most painful day in the year. I've spent lots of time in parking lots, waiting for my son, frantically texting with my ex in a panicked state.

Worse, the buildup to Mother's Day had me symptomatic all weekend and I could never really enjoy the day because I couldn't shake the stigma of being a weekend mom.

Here's some wisdom bombs that will lift you up today, no matter where you're at in your journey.

Episode #31: Don’t Exhaust Strangers with Your Story (Do This Instead!)

April 21st, 2021

What do you say to strangers when they want to know what happened to make you lose your kids?

Do you get triggered, avoid the question, make up a story? (I've done all 3!)

In this episode, you'll learn a BRILLIANT way to respond when well-meaning strangers ask about your custody case. You can respond from a place of wholeness, instead of turning them into your therapist :)

Episode #30: Cut the Karmic Bond with Your Ex

April 11th, 2021

If you find yourself thinking about your ex a lot, still trying to figure out why they act that way, or still get anxiety when dealing with them, you'll want to listen to this episode.

Meditation is one of the most effective tools I used to help myself clear out Family Court baggage, which made my ex far less significant than he needed to be.

Episode #29: Show Your Kids Your Muscles!

March 26th, 2021

What version of yourself do your kids have access to?

When my dad battled the Family Courts in the 1980's, his way of handling it impacted my wiring throughout my life. That's because the way we behave in crisis is the way we do everything.

You don't want to miss this episode. I go into how you can own an activist mindset so you can demonstrate to your children what side of reform you're on.

If you're struggling to connect with your separated child, whether the separation is from brainwashing or court-induced separation, check out my Be the Lighthouse workshop!

Episode #28: How Can I Change the Laws? (Installment 2 of 2)

March 14th, 2021

Wow! In this episode, my guest, Nicholas Dreezen of Familes United Action Network talks about all the hard work he and his team have done in Iowa. As one of the leading and longtime activists in the country, he has lots of practical tips for the layperson who wants to reform the system.

Don't forget! MANY advocates started out as "regular people" who suffered from injustice. There are empty seats in all 50 states that need to be filled. There are way more parents struggling for justice in the system than there are people benefitting from our pain. You won't want to miss this episode if your life's calling card is for you to push for reform.

Do you want to make a difference TODAY? Well, you can. First, help Iowa move faster by watching this 14-minute video. To quote Nicholas, "Please, step up, get involved. Do your part!"

When you put your energy into the states that progressing fast, the rest of the states will follow. Including YOUR state. No effort is wasted. Please help Iowa get to the finish line as one of the leading reform states, and REGISTER AS A LOBBYIST by creating an account and watching the 14-minute training video. Make your voice heard!

Episode #27: STOP Caring About Your Ex’s Agenda More than They Do

March 6th, 2021

You may be one of the many parents I work with, who are always a wreck because their ex routinely makes up some false allegations or gossips with the GAL/therapist/evaluator about what a crummy parent you are.

My response to all this is ... SO WHAT? :)

This episode will give you a mindset boost on how you can manage all this drama. (Because you know ... it's getting old.)

Episode #26: How Doing Family Court the “Normal” Way Will Keep You Broke, Sick, and Powerless

February 22nd, 2021

I hear this all the time from my students:

I can't do that. I'll get in trouble ...

I can't do that, I'll look crazy ...

I can't do that, I'm not smart enough ...

My ex will freak out if I do that ...

I can't afford it ...

I'm not the confrontational type ...

Etc.

Etc.

Etc.

I'm here to tell you TODAY that dropping these "normal" behaviors is key to being the brilliant, fully expressed version of yourself that is dying to break out of these Family Court shackles.

Episode #25: “Can I Write a Book on All This?” (YES, You Can!)

February 13th, 2021

Many parents, when they complete one of my programs or work with me for a bit feel that they "have a book in them."

Here's the good news: There are literally THOUSANDS of empty seats that need to be filled by parents like you. This population is severely underrepresented, and Amazon Kindle searches for Family Court corruption survivors will show this.

But ... you are afraid of your ex using your book against you. You're afraid of being attacked by a gender-based group, or attacked by the BAR industry.

Or, does the fear of being seen, heard, and understood by a ton of parents scary to you? Are you afraid of standing up, being too much, and taking up space?

That's all normal! But don't for a second let that stop you. If you know you are meant to write, or are curious about it, check out Ariana Fine and see what she can do for you. This episode is so juicy with new insights!

Episode #24: Having a Spiritual Practice While Enduring Court Trauma

February 6th, 2021

In this episode, I bring in Joelle Nawrocki, a mom who found herself battling the system with her daughter. She shares her story about how she implemented her spiritual practice to get her through the tough days and dealing with an outcome she didn't want.

We also talk about what the future looks like for Family Court as parents continue to expand their consciousness. (IMO, the system will NOT survive :P)
